In March 2025, the new EU Regulation (EU) No. 2025/351 on food contact materials officially came into effect, coinciding with the requirements of the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). This imposes stricter standards on the purity of raw materials for plastic packaging, limits on harmful substances, and supply chain traceability, presenting new challenges for food and fruit/vegetable businesses in Europe and the US regarding packaging compliance. ①The outer film uses a single material, CPP/PE, which possesses excellent chemical stability and low migration characteristics. The purity of the raw materials meets the requirements of Article 3a of the new regulations, and the migration of non-intentionally added substances (NIAS) is far below the limit of 0.05 mg/kg.
②The inner lining is made of OPP material, combined with a PET/PA composite structure, to meet the barrier and preservation needs of various foods and fruits and vegetables. All materials have passed tests by authoritative institutions such as SGS and TUV, with total heavy metal content ≤100mg/kg, and PFAS (perfluorinated compounds) content meeting the stringent standards of <25ppb for individual compounds and <250ppb for the total.
